The ELC academic year begins in September, which is when new students enter our program. An enrollment timeline for our September start date is provided below. Please keep in mind that children must be between 2 years, 9 months and 5 years old by September 2027 to be eligible for the upcoming school year.

Families are invited to join us for our Fall Open House on November 19, 2026. Applications for September 2027 enrollment will open following the event on November 20.

Priority enrollment begins for current ELC and Fay School families, employees, and alumni with eligible children. Applications are due by January 1 to be considered in priority enrollment.

General enrollment opens shortly after for remaining spaces. Applications are due by February 1 to be considered in the first round of general enrollment.

As part of the enrollment process, prospective families are invited to schedule a brief in-person or Zoom interview with the Associate Director of the Early Learning Center. These interviews will begin during the winter season and are required for all applicants.

A Winter Open House is scheduled for Friday, February 19, 2027, at 9:15 AM for applicants and interested families to tour our classrooms, meet our teachers, and learn more about our program.

The enrollment process continues on a rolling basis as spaces remain available.

While enrollment primarily occurs in September, mid-year openings occasionally arise. If space becomes available during the school year, we review age eligibility and classroom availability, then reach out directly to families who have submitted an interest form or application.
