Never Quit

Though overwhelmed by the weight of the Tenacre attack in the first half of the game, the Fay Squad never gave up and played their best soccer of the season in the second half.  Keepers for the game were Nick Drepanos and Ethan Student both of whom played well, grinded it out, and did their best to limit the shots.  Helping them in the back were Neil Pedda, Andrew Laquerre, Warren Dev and Nick West all of whom marked up and challenged well and showed great heart.  The best attack in the first half came with great passing and team play on the left wing between Will Ridgley and Ethan Student.  In the second half, consistent pressure by the mid-fielders Shivam Sharma, Ian Reilly, Coleman Ahn and Brandon Depietri yielded several good chances for Peter Reynolds and Jonathan Lamson.  Unfortunately, despite the pressure, they were unable score.  The Fay squad played to the end, never quit and played their guts out.
