The Fay boys were excited to get their first win of the regular season in the match against Rectory School. Fay executed very well tactically against a Rectory team that was well-drilled in defence and looked to counter when they had the ball. The Fay forwards worked tirelessly upfront, as exemplified by Ryan Kim's hat-trick. Fay's attackers executed almost flawlessly in winning back possession high up the field and creating goalscoring chances. Nico Galewicz was also on the scoresheet; midfield technician Slater Loffredo and versatile sixth grade attacker Jacob Morse rounded up the scoring to end the match 6-1 to Fay. The entire team played very well, and the performance of the younger boys, including Jeffy Kamil, Ezra Frain, and Brayden Naumann was a major highlight. The boys will look to build on this very strong performance and result as they take on Milton Academy away in the next match.
