Boys Varsity Lacrosse lose close game against skilled Fessenden team
The Fay Boys Varsity lacrosse team lost a tough game at home vs a skilled Fessenden team. After a very strong start, Fay found themselves trailing Fessenden 5-1 at halftime. Fay came out prepared in the second half and mounted an impressive comeback and were trailing 5-4 with only 3 minutes left to play. A few costly turnovers and broken clears gave Fessenden opprotunities to score and Fay ended up falling 7-4. It was an excellent effort by Fay in many aspects of the game. The offense and defense played impressively and most importantly, the boys stayed focused and did not give up.
Next up for Fay is the annual Junior School tournament at Fenn School. It should be a great day of lacrosse.
